As a Maths teacher at John Tonkin College, I am involved across both campuses with the development and delivery of the Mathematics curriculum. With the experience I have built both in teaching mathematics and teaching at John Tonkin College specifically, I am particularly invested in developing teaching programs that meet the varied needs of our students whether it be new Year 7s entering high school for the first time or Year 12 students looking to push themselves to the highest levels of mathematical understanding. Along with my fellow teaching staff, we look to build confidence and mastery within our students so that they can look to apply mathematics in the wider world.
