MET Campus

Welcome to the MET Campus

The MET campus is co-located with the South Metropolitan TAFE and Murdoch University on the Peel Education Campus demands that John Tonkin College’s MET Campus maintains an adult ethos in its organisation of educational programs and interaction between staff and students.

The shared campus means that college students have access to a range of modern facilities and learning opportunities that would not be available in a typical secondary school. The link between secondary education and higher education provides a wide range of educational opportunities for students

Embedded within the MET campus site is the John Tonkin College Education Support Centre. This collocation enables students with special needs to share their education experience with the other JTC students.

The College’s Enterprise and Industry Program provides additional opportunities for post-compulsory students to raise their standards of literacy, numeracy and general education in an environment that is sensitive to their needs.

“In my role as a University Partnerships Coordinator, I really enjoy having the opportunity to inspire our students to stretch their beliefs and have them ask themselves – what am I capable of? What might be possible in my future? It is rewarding to see students reach for their career goals and achieve them!”
