The Arts

The Arts Faculty at JTC use a project based student directed learning model that gives participants opportunities to create and express ideas through visual media and performance.

John Tonkin College offers the following subjects with in the Arts.

  • Photography

Visual arts.and refine new and existing skills and are encouraged to think creatively using the 21st century skills of communication, collaboration and critical thinking.

Learning Opportunities

Students of The Arts at JTC have the opportunity to participate in many extra-curricular events. The Arts faculty encourages students to showcase the high quality artworks they create and participate in. Opportunities for students to exhibit in The Arts disciplines may include school or community performances, competitions, JTC promotional material and collections.

We are lucky to have specialist teachers who are passionate about the arts working with us. This means they are dedicated to inspiring students and providing real world and meaningful learning opportunities.
