Parents & Citizens

Parents & Citizens

The John Tonkin College P & C Association has many functions:

  • Encourage parents to participate in their child’s education
  • Develops parent participation in the development of their child’s school
  • A forum for parents to discuss issues pertaining to the school and its community.
  • Guest speakers are invited to each meeting to give talks on matters associated with their child’s education

The P & C is funded by the school cafeteria and also requires fundraising or volunteering. We meet once a term for general meetings, which are kept to a maximum of 1 hour. It is a relaxed environment where anyone over the age of 18 can become a member, parents, grandparents, neighbours, guardians. Membership costs $1 for the P&C financial year, and you would then be eligible to vote at meetings.

We are always looking for new members to join the P&C and we would love to see as many parents as possible at our meetings.

Please feel free to send an Expression of Interest to join the P & C to: admin@johntonkincollege.wa.edu.au or to johntonkinparentsandcitizens@gmail.com
