On Wednesday, 1st of September, 2021 at the John Tonkin College, MET Campus, parents and friends enjoyed the art and photography exhibition called Out of the Box. The drama performance of Pandora’s Box and musical pieces from classical guitar to rock bands were performed by students.
On the 3rd of August a group of students from years 7-12 represented John Tonkin College and competed against local schools including Frederick Irwin, Mandurah Catholic College, Comet Bay College and Mandurah Baptist College in the 2021 Surfing WA Peel School Surfing Titles.
JTC Tindale female students have participated in two workshops on how to do traditional basket weaving. Dianne Jackson from Meraki Art Therapy has spent time teaching the girls and has shared her personal experience of learning the technique.

Our year 10 Duke of Ed students went out in to the Pinjarra region. They were working with Greening Australia to complete flora monitoring using a 10x10m quadrat format. The Aboriginal Education Department staff, Andrea Tacko, Denysha Marshall and Luke Beeson together with staff, students and parents organized a special banquet enjoyed by all.
